Mother of four, two of them adopted daughters with severe RAD. Sixteen years of ER visits, inpatient stays and hard-won strategy and no judgment for anything you bring.
What we'll cover
Six evenings, live and online, with a small group of parents walking the same road. Come with your camera off if that’s what you need — no one here will ask you to perform.

- How developmental trauma and RAD develop, and how it changes the brain
- Who or what the "Nurturing Enemy" is, and how it shapes family dynamics
- Therapies that can help — and approaches that often don't
- Whether medication should be part of the conversation
- Common misdiagnoses and co-occurring conditions

Who this class is for
It’s built for foster and adoptive parents — and for anyone considering either. But it’s open to anyone who wants to understand this world more deeply, and it is often the people around a family who make the biggest difference to whether that family survives it.
- Foster, adoptive, kinship and biological parents
- Grandparents and extended family
- Pastors, teachers and youth workers
- Other caregivers and supporters
Personalized Coaching
Coaching designed to meet you where you are. What are the challenges you’re facing right now? We’ll work out what to try differently, and I’ll stay with you while you try it.
No script, no judgment, and no starting from the beginning every time. Coaching starts with a three-month block, so you have real time to see change — not just a single session. We’ll talk it through on your free call, so you’ll know exactly what it looks like before you commit to anything.
Questions About The Class
What does it cost?
The 6-week class is just $499, with an early bird price of $449 through October 2, 2026, and you can split it into two payments. Personalized coaching is something we’ll talk through on your free call, so you will know exactly what that will look like before you commit.
How long is each session?
Sessions begin at 6:00 pm MDT on Friday evenings. We don’t put a fixed length on them — how long we run depends a great deal on the discussion and the questions in the room, however we will plan to be wrapping it up by 8:00 pm.
Do I have to talk?
No. Camera off and quiet for all six weeks is completely fine. Some parents don’t say a word until week four, and some never do. You’ll get the same from it.
Can I join if I'm not in Colorado?
Yes. Everything is virtual, so parents can join from anywhere. Sessions run on Mountain Time.
Is this coaching or therapy?
The class is education, taught alongside a licensed clinician. My own work with you is coaching — I’m not a licensed therapist and I don’t diagnose or treat.
